Quase todos os edif\u00edcios de Nyhavn foram transformados em bares, caf\u00e9s e restaurantes, mas no passado esse mesmo local era ocupado por bordeis e n\u00e3o tinha boa reputa\u00e7\u00e3o. Atualmente turistas do mundo todo visitam a \u00e1rea para beber, comer ou passear de barco. No local tamb\u00e9m existe uma grande \u00e2ncora em mem\u00f3ria dos marinheiros dinamarqueses mortos durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial.
